In Pennsylvania, Volunteers of America provides more than 20 different programs. These services include youth services, foster care, domestic and international adoption services, thrift stores, emergency services, family housing, elderly housing, housing for those with mental illness, supported living for individuals suffering a mental illness, pregnancy counseling, transportation for the elderly and handicapped, a group home for female youth ages 14-17, and permanent and transitional housing for young adults at risk of being homeless.
